Library Databases and E-books
Consumer Health Complete*
This full text database is designed to support patients' information needs and foster an overall understanding of health-related topics. It provides content covering all areas of health and wellness from mainstream medicine to the many perspectives of complementary, holistic, and integrated medicine.

Drugs, Alcohol, and Tobacco*
Covers the range of topics related to addiction for researchers in grade six and above. Approximately 200 articles cover everything from binge drinking to the role of genetics in addictive behaviors. Also included are additional articles on media representation, drug use in schools, herbal supplements, and more.

Encyclopedia of Genetic Disorders*
Provides clear, complete information on genetic disorders, including conditions, tests, procedures, treatments, and therapies in articles that are both comprehensive and easy to understand in language accessible to laypersons.

Health Watch - Alternative*
This database focuses on the many perspectives of complementary, holistic and integrated approaches to health care and wellness. It offers full text articles for more than 180 international, and often peer-reviewed journals and reports. In addition, there are hundreds of pamphlets, booklets, special reports, original research, and book excerpts.

Salud en Espanol provee reportes completos basados en evidencias y fichas de datos relacionados a todos los aspectos de la salud y el bienestar. Reportes específicos por tema que cubren todos los aspectos de la salud, dan informacion general importante en relacion a enfermedades, afecciones y procedimientos de diversos tratamientos.
(Salud en Espanol provides comprehensive evidence-based reports and fact sheets in Spanish on all aspects of consumer health and wellness. Topic specific reports covering all aspects of health offer valuable overviews on diseases, conditions, procedures and various treatments. The content found in this database includes a diverse collection of health related themes: first aid, infant/child care and illnesses, alternative medicine, aging and wellness.

Well-Connected is an online library of reports covering hundreds of common diseases and wellness issues. Each report is an in-depth discussion of the latest information on treatments, risk factors, causes, diagnostic tests, and preventative measures. All reports are written by experienced medical writers and reviewed for accuracy and relevancy by a board of physicians at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital.
